I think this is a very broad and at the same time interesting topic to discuss. I have traveled a lot during the last couple of years through the most famous destinations. But, this is my personnel statement and I am sure that every person has his own statement about the purpose of traveling. Here I will not defend or blame why we travel, instead

Do we travel, because we want to explore other nations or basically because this is what other people do?Also, have in mind that less and less people can book a more distance vacation because of the tough financial situation these days. Despite that for example, a person can find good rate vacation rental in Barcelona.

We travel, because the nature gave us an opportunity to discover new places, cultures and to make simple comparison with our lives. I have heard many times that people discussed that to travel means to have a lot of money. This is not true, because places like Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Cuba, Dominican Republic or Thailand can give us the same inspirational environment for less money. On the other hand we have the top resorts for the rich persons like London, Swiss, Hawaii, Bora Bora, Maldives or Los Cabos. It is a matter of personnel choice and financial opportunities.

In my last trip I was in Barcelona to check how is the life there and some of the most popular places like Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas etc. The short term rentals Barcelona apartments were at incredulous price which made my vacation better.

So, as you can see we all travel for different reasons. But, the most important goal is to make sure that you will meet unique people and places which will stay forever in your mind.
